I found this video I made when Blake was a baby......I've never done anything with it so, I'll put it at the beginning of his birthday post!
Four years ago, I was cradling my little one in a hospital room in Toronto. He was sweet, soft, and warm. Now he's dirty and does all little boy things. He can't pass a puddle without walking straight through it. He jumps off of anything with an incline. He wears big boy undies and can make a sword out of anything.
I can't believe he is mine...he wears me out....but he always tells me he loves me...Weakens me every time.
Blake had a little party at preschool and got his birthday crown to wear home. Then, we had his birthday party at Chuckie Cheese....yikes! That wore us out, but he loved it.
Happy Birthday Blake! We can't imagine life without you.

It is always surprising how much kids look like they did as babies... You think they change so much and yet they are there from the beginning.

ReplyDeleteI loved that video, my eyes are all teary. It looks like Blake had a fun birthday! I love that Russ is still dressed up from work at Chuck-E-Cheese's, it reminds me of his brother. Great job on those cupcakes! I may steal the idea when James has a birthday...
